Carbondale Police Seeking Identities of Suspects in Robbery, Burglary Investigations

CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police need your help identifying two suspects believed to be responsible for three felony offenses within the last two weeks.

The crimes include a commercial burglary that happened around 10:10 p.m. on July 26 at Citgo, located at 2101 South Illinois Avenue, an armed robbery that took place around 9 p.m. on July 27 at Dollar General, located at 2160 Ramada Lane, and an armed robbery that happened around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday at Primo’s Pizza, located at 604 East Park Street.

The male suspects wore different Halloween masks during each incident. They also wore heavy coats and gloves and are believed to be black.

One suspect was described as standing around 6’4” tall, weighing 220 pounds. The other suspect was described as standing around 5’6” tall with a thin build. One of the men has medium length blond dreadlocks. The investigation into these incidents is continuing.
