Saline County State’s Attorney’s Report for January 2019

HARRISBURG – The following information was released to WMCL News by Saline County State’s Attorney Molly Wilson Kasier Monday.

The following people were sentenced in January of 2019 in Saline County Circuit Court:       

Jeremy May, 39 years old, of Harrisburg, IL, was sentenced on January 03, 2019 by Judge Walden Morris to 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Attempted Burglary.

Kain Brown, 20 years old, of Eldorado, IL, was sentenced on January 04, 2019 by Judge Walden Morris to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 2-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Residential Burglary.      

Zachary Ward, 27 years old, of Harrisburg, IL, was sentenced on January 07, 2019 by Judge Walden Morris to 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Methamphetamine Possession.      

Michael Wright, 21 years old, of Marion, IL, was sentenced on January 07, 2019 by Judge Walden Morris to 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 2-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Possession of a Stolen Firearm.

Matthew Rushing, 34 years old, of Ozark, IL, was sentenced on January 09, 2019 by Judge Walden Morris to 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (Violation of Probation).

Malaina Foster, 32 years old, of Harrisburg, IL, was sentenced on January 08, 2019 by Judge Walden Morris to 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 2-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Bringing Contraband into a Penal Institution (Violation of Probation).

James Branch, 55 years old, of Harrisburg, IL, was sentenced on January 14, 2019 by Judge Walden Morris to 24 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 3 years to natural life mandatory supervised release for the offense of Predatory Sexual Assault of Child.

Michael Litherland, 66 years old, of Golconda, IL, was sentenced on January 18, 2019 by Judge Walden Morris to 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Deceptive Practice.   

Nathan Baker, 31 years old, of Elodrado, IL, was sentenced on January 22, 2019 by Judge Walden Morris to 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Theft (Under $500) (Enhanced Sentence) (Violation of Probation).  Nathan Baker had a second case and was sentenced to 10 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 3year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Burglary.  Nathan Baker had a third case and was sentenced to 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Criminal Trespass to an Occupied Residence.

Ashley Collins, 32 years old, of Goreville, IL, was sentenced on January 22, 2019 by Judge Walden Morris to 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Methamphetamine Possession.

Joshua Hurst, 37 years old, of Harrisburg, IL, was sentenced on January 22, 2019 by Judge Walden Morris to 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Methamphetamine Possession (Violation of Probation).  Joshua had a second case and was sentenced to 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Methamphetamine Possession.  Joshua had a third case and was sentenced to 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Burglary (Violation of Probation).

Robert Harrelson, 50 years old, of Eldorado, IL, was sentenced on January 25, 2019 by Judge Todd Lambert to 2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Methamphetamine Possession.  Robert had a second case and was sentenced to 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and  1year mandatory supervised released for the offense of Methamphetamine Possession.

Anthony Arrington, 20 years old, of Chicago, IL, was sentenced on January 30, 2019 by Judge Walden Morris to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 2-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Aggravated Battery.  Anthony had a second case and was sentenced to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1-year mandatory supervised release for the offense of Aggravated Battery.
