Busy Agenda for Tuesday Night’s McLeansboro City Council Meeting

MCLEANSBORO – The McLeansboro City Council will meet tonight at 6 at City Hall.

Some of tonight’s items on the agenda include discussion and/or action on remodeling plans for City Hall, proposals from Shawnee Professional Services for releasing funds for the engineering of a replacement apron for the fire station and/or accepting bids for Contract A and Contract C for construction of the new water tower, authorizing improvements to the Market Street and Main Street bridges, a liquor license request by Debra Wells – Main Street Diner, a proposal from Hamilton County Economic Development to establish façade grants for improvements in the TIF District and releasing funds to demolish structures at 702 South Hancock Street and 609 East O’Henry Street, assessing late fee charges on delinquent utility accounts, establishing a date and time for the city-wide Halloween Trick or Treat night, the release of budgeted funds for tuck pointing at McCoy Memorial Library and naming officials to attend the Illinois Municipal League Annual Meeting next week in Chicago.

The meeting is open to the public.
