McLeansboro City Council to Revisit City Hall Renovation Plans at Tonight’s Meeting

MCLEANSBORO – The McLeansboro City Council will take up several issues when at tonight’s city council meeting.

The council will again look at city hall renovation plans after the motion to continue engineering for possible renovations died at the January meeting. The council will also review bids for a new truck for the city’s electric department.

Council members will also look to adopt a net metering policy for city residents that would establish how much electricity a home can put back into the system if they have ways of generating power at their home, such as solar panels.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at City Hall. It’s open to the public.
